I’m writing this from a train between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, thinking about what this next year looks like for our family. This past week, we received our renewed visas, and we’re grateful for another year here in Israel.
One of the biggest surprises and joys of our time here has been helping build youth baseball in Tel Aviv. I never expected baseball to become such a meaningful part of our life overseas, but it has. I’ve been able to help grow a program that now serves hundreds of kids and families, and it has been especially meaningful to watch my own boys get to play the sport I love.
What I’m trying to do right now is reach out to family, friends, and businesses who might believe in what Hannah and I are doing here. So much of life and ministry here is not only about preaching to people, but about investing in communities, building relationships, and being the hands and feet of Jesus through the way we serve and treat people. One of the most practical ways I’m doing that right now is through my role as chairman of the Tel Aviv Baseball Club.
As we prepare for next season, I’m trying to help finish two important field projects: completing the infield renovation and upgrading the irrigation system so the field can survive Israel’s long, hot summer.
Together, these projects will cost about $10,000. We’ve already raised $2,500 and I am trying to raise the remaining $7,500 so we can get the work done before next season begins.

I wanted to ask if you would consider helping us close that gap. Any amount would make a real difference and would directly impact the kids who use this field every week.
For U.S.-based donors, gifts can be made through our American charitable partner here:

Please put “Tel Aviv Baseball Family” in the memo field. If you can reply to my email and let me know, I will make sure to let the office there know.
I also put together a short webpage with more about what we’re building:
https://partners.
No pressure at all, but I wanted to share the need with people who know our family and might want to be part of what’s happening here.
Thank you for reading this and for caring about our family over the years.
All the best,
Nolan & Hannah
